We at team Vita Nova greatly value a good cooperation between the various obstetric care providers. This is the reason we are a member of the Cooperatie Verloskundigen 's Hertogenbosch e.o. - or the Cooperation of Midwives 's-Hertogenbosch and surroundings.
The cooperation consists of autonomous, primary care midwives and forms a strong party within the birth care in the 's-Hertogenbosch region. The strength of the cooperation is that they, on the one hand, are close to the client, and on the other hand, that they are a professional partner in determining policy with other care providers. This makes it possible for the midwife to play a pivotal role in obstetric care - so that physiology is monitored, freedom of choice is maximally respected and client satisfaction is central.
Collaborating with chain partners and coordinating care for the pregnant client and her family is of vital importance. By intensifying the cooperation between different disciplines, we can improve the care of pregnant women and their families. It is important to offer the care as all-encompassing as possible. Both the pregnant women and the healthcare professional benefit from well-organized care paths, which is a must in view of integral care. For this reason, we are a member of the Midwifery Collaboration Association Den Bosch (Verloskundig Samenwerkings Verband Den Bosch) together with the Cooperation of midwives 's- Hertogenbosch and surroundings, and the Jeroen Bosch hospital. For the same reason, the VSV is expanded with several healthcare professionals such as maternity care agencies and the GGD.
We make grateful use of the expertise of our colleagues at several consultation locations: think of exercise therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, general practitioners and psychologists. In addition, we make ultrasounds in our own practice in order to be able to make an adequate diagnosis very quickly.
