For seven years I worked as a nurse at the delivery rooms at the Jeroen Bosch hospital. In that period I’ve guided many parents during the beautiful moment of the birth of their child. The last few years I was looking for more involvement in the whole process around pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period. This moved me to study midwifery next to my work as nurse. I completed the education in June 2014. I’ve been happily working at Vita Nova since May 2015.
As midwife it’s a wonderful challenge to me to emphasize on the natural process of pregnancy and birth, and to provide personal care to the parents in this beautiful period in their lives. Every time it’s a privilege to guide the parents during the birth of their child, in a way that suits them.
